The following topics are usually included in each of the selected photo tours:
Basics of the SLR camera: use of aperture and shutter speed, possibilities and limits of ISO values, handling autofocus fields.
Basics of photography: image composition, focus, metering and correct exposure, design elements such as framing, lining up and golden ratio
Landscape, wildlife and macro photography, tell-a-story, use of wide angles and other lenses
use of tripods and other aids
Introduction to flash: Technique, fill flash, use of multiple flash units, reflectors, softboxes, use of different focal lengths.
Special situations: Sunset and night photography, star photography.
Important: We completely avoid the use of program automatics. All photos we take during our travels are shot in manual mode. Don’t worry, we’ll get it right together! So far, everyone with us has still casually learned to shoot only manually.
